igus:bike worldtour highlight with RCYL – South Korea

The journey led to Yeosu, a coastal city at the most southern tip of Korea’s mainland. The air was crisp with the scent of the sea, and the roads, lined with gentle curves, invited a smooth and refreshing ride. The first stop was the vibrant Hamel Lighthouse, standing bright against the endless blue of the ocean. Its colorful design and picturesque surroundings made it a perfect place to pause and take in the beauty of the coastline.

Following the coastal road, the ride continued with the cool sea breeze providing a welcome relief from the day’s exertion. The rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore blended with the hum of tires on the pavement, creating a peaceful harmony between nature and motion.

The route eventually led to Yeosu Cable Car, a remarkable feat of engineering and a popular attraction in the region. Known for its durability, the cable car utilizes lubrication-free bearing solutions from igus, ensuring smooth operation and resistance to harsh environmental conditions. This advanced technology enhances its longevity, making it a prime example of innovation meeting functionality.

With the sun beginning to set, the day’s journey concluded against the backdrop of the glowing sky reflecting off the water. Another day of adventure had come to an end, leaving behind memories of breathtaking views and seamless travel along Korea’s southern coast.
